How to Avoid Serial bomb blasts Situations

With the Latest Bomb Blasts in Bangalore , Jaipur & Ahmedabad – The IT Park of India, most techies are now trying to move away from the city because if its a single bomb blast it would not have given such a fear but 9 Serial blasts could give a serious shock to anyone. With the blasts most cellular networks & Phone lines were jammed making things more worse because this way everyone could not connect with their other family members and made everyone more tense. Here are some important things you should note when a situation like this occurs.

Try to use your mobile phone’s SMS service because at times even if the phone lines are down the SMS services do work but with a little delay and can help you out in staying updated on the current position and status of your relatives.

Just move away from your work location and try to travel using the main roads / lanes and avoid passing through footpaths because a bomb blast generally gives you small hint of serial blasts and you need to take this as a warning and avoid smaller roads, places where vehicles especially 2-wheelers are parked.

Try to connect to the internet if you have a internet mobile phone and stay updated with the latest updates and find out the blast areas and position/current status.

Always carry your identity cards/student card because at these times while you try to move to your location and are enquired by Police about your identity you need to have a card ready to sort out the situation as soon as possible and move away from there. There is no point you can connect to your family at these times to prove your identity.

Wherever you find a group of people/mass try to avoid that and move in places which has the lowest number of people in the locality and try to reach residential areas as soon as possible because mostly these serial bombs are planted in locations where there are huge number of people and especially commercial areas.

When the mobile phone lines & land lines go down because of high number of incoming/outgoing calls try to connect to your loved ones using the nearest internet centers and try to update everyone with your current location to make sure everyone is connected someway.

Another important thing to note is that generally serial bomb blasts are planted in bi-cycles and tiffin boxes loaded on them and when you hear any news of a bomb blast try to stay away from any bi-cycle you fild in the parking lot because it can be dangerous.

Will surely pass on the message to my friends and relatives. It is a very sad moment. 8 blasts in Banglore yesterday followed by 14 in Ahemdabad today. Are lives so cheap ?

  3. Deepa says:

For Islam terrorists, innocent lives are very cheap. Muslim terrorists are not smart enough to make their lives better, they only know to destroy what others created. Shame on them.
If they are so loyal to Pakistan and Islam, why dont they move to Pakistan or Bangladesh?

God, i cant forget that day,, the day of terror, the day of bombs..

Luckily, i was not at the targeted place, most of the bombs planted were in old city of jaipur, and my house is in newly developed jaipur,, like 3 kms from there..

Thanks for making this post. Avoiding crowded places is surely a good way. Just a word of caution about bicyles/tiffins – they are popular because they cost less, but in general 2 wheelers parked in markets can be equally unsafe.
