Before the monsoon arrives, Goa experiences a dramatic increase in humidity for two months. Furthermore, the skies become cloudy and unclear. And when the monsoon comes, a rainfall of averagely 250 centimeters to 300 centimeters pours down in Goa, albeit the rainfall is comparably higher in the Western Ghats than on the coastal areas. Monsoon in Goa is such an ideal season for festive activities amidst the exceptional charm of nature. This season prevails for four consecutive months. Incessant rainfall pours down but the people rejoice for the blessings received from nature with all the rains that satisfy the thirst of dry grounds which also cleanses the fields.
When the monsoon leaves the state, the skies become crystal clear once again and people experience a nice weather condition in Goa. For about 4 to 5 months, from the month of October until February, the everyday weather is almost perfectly cloudless skies. It’s warm but not excessively hot. The seas are calm and most of the beautiful countryside sceneries can be enjoyed by the tourists. However, the weather changes and the humidity starts to increase as the monsoon starts to come near again.
