The crops in autumn and sowing in spring are done from the month of June until late September. Winter rainfalls occur from December and lasts until February. This is good for a certain local crop named Rabi.
The best time of the year for tourists to visit Haryana is during the spring seasons. Spring starts from February until April and also from August until November. The weather of Haryana on this season is pleasant and comfortable so light cotton clothing are recommendable. On the other hand, for the winter season, woolen clothings are best.
